The Barbuda Sisterhood Christmas Party
Through the generous support of hundreds of people across the globe Bonnie Floyd Ministries (BFM) was able to bring the Miracle of Christmas to the children of Barbuda after Hurricane Irma decimated their homes and the entire island was evacuated.
When Christmas came the following year, BFM decided this time to host the Barbuda Sisterhood Christmas Party and do something for the Mamas and all the ladies of Barbuda.
The Barbuda Sisterhood is a ministry that was formed under BFM when the resilient people of Barbuda began to return home. The Barbuda Sisterhood has no criteria to join, it is currently a thriving ministry that crosses all denominational lines and welcomes ALL women to every gathering.
We had such a wonderful time! We sang Christmas and worship songs, played silly games, two powerful messages were spoken, we dined on delicious local food and of course there were presents. The sweet ladies of Barbuda even snuck in a surprise mini-birthday party for me and made me a beautiful birthday cake!
